  1. Speaking as 2/3 of the audience, its a bloody good play and we hope it gets a bigger audience soon.

  2. It’s always good to see Dudley Sutton.

  3. Couldn’t you have used a classier and more refined “hand” for your sign?

  4. Don’t tell me – you drew that – right?

  5. Speaking as a seriously underemployed illustrator, “So, what’s wrong with the hand?” It’s not often one sees a well dressed individual being defiant. Kinda gives an impression of, it’s gonna hurt. Comments brought to you by a serious lack of sleep.

  6. True, someone needing a manicure is probably more pissed-off than someone with Hollywood hands. But what is he being defiant about? I can’t go to the Isle of Dogs to see the play so could I be given a synopsis?

  7. I saw the following as a comment to an news article. Something about Pres. Obama & his ranking in the best to worst presidents, wince WWII. I couldnt help but wonder if the poster’s comment had any relevance to the play:
“You will never again out-vote these people. It will take individual acts of defiance and massive displays of civil disobedience to get back the rights we have allowed them to take away. It will take Zealots, not moderates & shy, not reach-across- the-aisle types to right this ship and restore our beloved country to its former status.”
    Close?

    • If ‘these people’ are the ruling elite, the 1% of uber-rich who rule the world in their own interests, then I couldn’t agree more.

      • Yes, Sir! The commenter was taking aim at our (U.S.) political leaders & those that financially support them. In either case, the 1%.
